It WAS raining. but it didn't stop us. We visited relatives and even had a gorgeous stay in a cabin belonging to our cousins! I have to say this treasure is not that far a drive from Calgary and so worth the trip. Lots of beaches and places to access the lake if you don't have a cabin, and the little towns of Mameo and the "Village at Pigeon Lake" are adorable. The camp ground is heavily treed and really nice too. Our friend's stayed there, and though it was mucky in the rain, the provincial park was lovely.
We will definitely be going back again this summer!
